Cancelled matches ?

This is where the problem arises, any judge with a brain between his ears should throw the case out the window. With a "what the hell is wrong with you and why are you wasting my time" NO ONE FORCED YOU TO GO TO THE MATCH"!!!! "YOU DID IT ON YOUR OWN SO YOU TOOK THE RESPONSIBILITY ON YOUR SELF" ah but there I did it to myself no one remembers what "RESOPNSIBLITLY" is and they sure as hell are not going to blame themselves. WTF has this world come to??? Very sad and I sure pity my grandchildren.

Sorry about the rant but the older I get the less I can tolerate stupidity.
Jesse, I can remember when men were men. Just see this as a preview when they say bring your gun in to us.

I am a survivor. I am the opposite of a hypochondriac. I am not worried about myself. I understand the frustration of people with personalities like mine. We spend our lives letting nothing get in our way. We get it done when others can't.

That said, the Covid19 protocols we are implementing nationally are not about individuals. They are about preventing the situation that currently exists in N Italy where the infrastructure has collapsed. Because of the highly contagious nature of Covid 19, a large percentage of the local population can be put down at the same time causing utilities to fail and hospitals to be overwhelmed.

It's not about you personally.

The better we do at "social distancing" and other efforts to prevent the spread of Covid 19, the sooner we will get back to normal.

I agree with parts of this. It's not so much about the "Will I personally get sick".

I don't want to get sick, knowing that I am a younger age and very healthy I'll probably get over it just fine. But what if I pass that along to my parents, who might not be so easy to get through it. That's what I think about.

I definitely don't agree with the mass panic, and seriously, someone please for the love of god explain to me why we are out of toilet paper and paper towels.

Jesse, That`s what happens when you grow up east of Tusseyville and drink the water. Good luck with the match.Say hello to your Dad for me. Jeff

I just heard there was hope coming quickly from outer space! A giant comet is coming close by the Earth. If we all comply to the madness we will all be sucked up in the tail of it. It will take us to the happiest hunting grounds and ranges imagineable. Where beautiful waitresses serve free Corona’s. Sorry for that! I know it is all we heard, but I just can’t make myself drink the Koolaid! Samuel Hall

Sam
If it don't have a blue label on that koolaid I ain't drinking it no way.

Kenmore range in WA is closed, Siebert shoot was cancelled.

I understand cancelling matches but closing outdoor ranges is a stupid reaction. It is easy to keep one's distance is a outdoor range especially with shooting lanes.

What is happening is that the whole State is becoming in quarantine.

I agree with this. Shutting down matches is understandable but shutting down the entire range was unnecessary. I went to the Kenmore range pretty much every day last week and more often than not I was either the only guy there or maybe 2-3 other people sitting away from each other. It was actually safer than most other places I could have been. I guess it was just a blanket order on all recreational areas and the people making these policies can't exactly be too specific for a particular place. Also, once an order has been given, ranges would be scared of getting sued if somebody caught the virus there.
Still, days can get pretty boring with nowhere to shoot and just waiting for my turn to catch the virus :-) ... especially while living in the 'Wuhan of US'.

Kenmore management is hypersensitive to all things that may go wrong. I wonder why they manage a "FIREARMS" range? They should close the range to the public and not the membership!

The Orange Blossom at Port Malabar in Southeast Florida is on all this week and all next week.

Hope we get some reports from shooters there.

Viruses live only seconds in direct sunlight. The ultraviolet light of the sun kills them almost immediately! Unless you French kiss your fellow competitors I think we will be OK. And yes I do have a healthcare history and experience. Paramedic/ Supervisor 21 years, my father was a surgeon/and physician, and my grandfather was a physician since the 1920’s. Samuel Hall

Tell is about all the sunlight in the hotel rooms?

This isn't about individuals accepting personal responsibility for coronavirus infection if someone decides to participate in group events and become exposed. It has never been about that. It's about the all the other unsuspecting people they are likely to spread it to at home, at work, or as they selfishly go about in public with little concern for their fellow citizens. Get it? Containment can only work if everyone participates. I don't really give a rat's a$$ if someone feels like their personal freedoms are being infringed, because I have just as important a right not to be unknowingly exposed by some idiot that doesn't care about anything but themselves. There is still a lot we don't know about this virus, but one thing we know with certainty: minimizing social contact minimizes the chance of exposure. As long as people insist on participating in activities that increase their risk of exposure, they are also increasing the risk of exposure for the rest of us, and lengthening the amount of time it will take for the risk of infection to diminish.

There's a construction site in Ohio with 4000 workers on it plus all the factories. I don't see them shutting them down. They want to keep exposure to a minimum so the have grocery stores REDUCE their hours so everyone has to go at the same time. I'm not denieing this virus at all. I believe that they are using it as an experiment on the people to what we will do. Also to destroy the current economy and blame Trump. Oh and by the way if you don't want to go to the match don't go you will be safe at home.
